This week all six registered 505s came out for a night of challenging racing. With winds light out of the south, the fleet encountered numerous wind shifts (what, in Bellingham Bay?). After a delay in getting the first race off as boats made their way to the start line from Fairhaven, the race committee was still able to complete two races for the night. The top 2 boats swapped first place, but managed to stay at the top of the fleet by taking advantage of the shifts while finding favorable current whenever possible.
Thanks to the Race Committee and Safety Boat crews for the great job they did managing the course in light conditions and for volunteering their time and to the 505 fleet for coming out to play!
