For the final week of the Frostbite series we had southerly winds at about 9 knots for the first two races. With the final race seeing the winds drop to about 5 knots, the race committee shortened the course and the boats comleted the third race with plenty of daylight remaining. The race committee again practiced gate starts in preparation for the 505 North Americans in June. Next week we hope to set up the full course configuration to be used in the 505 North Americans.
Thanks to the Race Committee and Safety Boat crews for the great job they did managing the course, especially with the new starting system and for volunteering their time and to the 505 fleet for coming out to play!
