Each year the Bellingham Yacht Club hosts the Jr. Ski to Sea Regatta.

The regatta takes place on Bellingham Bay, and is open to sailors 18 and younger. Racing is limited to dinghy sailboats under 19 feet in length. Class divisions will include Laser, Laser Radial, Laser 4.7, Opti, Opti Green, FJ’s, and V15′s. Additional fleets are welcome as long as there are at least 5 boats. Regatta proceeds benefit the BYC Youth Sailing Program.

Generally, the regatta falls somewhere near the same time of year as Ski to Sea, but not the same weekend. 2012′s regatta will be announced here as details become available.
